Selling Business Contacts

Know a lot of people? Or maybe like my friend, you collect business cards. If so, then Jigsaw.com might be right up your alley. Jigsaw is an online marketplace where business contact information can be sold, bought, or traded to its members (mostly sales people). Members can either pay $25 a month for access to business contacts or, for the TreasureTrainer readers, submit 25 business contacts in exchange for membership, and receive 2 contacts for every 1 contact you add. Your contacts can then be sold to other users for a dollar a person.

So Jigsaw has over a million legitimate and current business contacts and blah, blah, blah, but let’s get to the reason you’re reading this – to make money online. Members are rewarded points for their business contacts. These points are the currency of Jigsaw, and can be sold to other members who will use them to buy their own contacts. You can receive points by adding contacts, correcting existing ones, or by referring other members to the marketplace. Adding or correcting a contact wins you 10 points. Referring a member will get you 125 points. Every point can be sold for 10 cents. Jigsaw does not guarantee that you will be able to sell all your points and get paid. Go figure. But they are an established and fairly respected company, so they’re not going to screw you, either.

If you’re interested in making money online, Jigsaw looks like it could be a good investment of your time if you have the business cards or contact information readily available. I sincerely doubt that any other site makes it this easy for you to get paid to sell out the people you know.
