Make Money as a ChaCha Search Guide
In September of 2006, Chacha.com launched a new search engine that has brought web searching to a whole new level. Having taken on the big boys like Google and Ask.com, ChaCha has something they don't: easily accessible customer service reps to help you with your search. These experienced "search guides" will do their own searching to find exactly what you're looking for as you chat with them in real-time. The service is free and optional; you can always browse the normal search results on your own.
Where do these search guides come from? They're retirees, stay-at-home moms, students, and others just like you, looking to make some extra money from home. A search guide sets their own hours and works as much or as little as they like. Here's how you can make money online using ChaCha.com:
Register to become a search guide at Chacha.com. Logging into your software (provided by ChaCha) you receive search queries from the public based on the keywords you selected when signing up. Be sure to select keywords that relate to an area of the web that you are familiar with. Ask yourself, what resources do you know of that most people wouldn't know to check? At first you are considered an apprentice guide and must train on 3 keywords of your choice. After advancing, you become a pro guide, and get the option to choose up to 10 keywords, after which you can start receiving searches for pay. Those that make it past the pro level become a master guide, and can choose up to 50 keywords for pay. The pay rate varies. Pro and master guides can earn up to $5.00 per search hour. The top 20% of guides who reach the elite
level can double their earnings and earn up to $10.00 per search hour.
