Cash-Back Shopping

There are hundreds of stores online that are willing to pay advertisers a percentage of every sale from someone the advertiser sent to the store. The advertiser sometimes passes some of this percentage on to the shopper as a kind of "reward", and the result is a nice little way to earn some extra money online for purchases that you were planning on making anyway.

Big brand names such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Footlocker, etc all have online shopping portals setup where you can spend your hard earned cash (the money you made from your autosurfs and pay-to-signup programs!). Lets say that Best Buy is willing to pay a cash back shopping program 7% for every purchase that is sent their way. The cash back shopping program is then willing to pay its members (you) 5% for any purchases they make at Best Buy through the program. Well, if you were planning on buying a $5,000 plasma TV at Best Buy anyway, do it through the Cash Back Shopping program and suddenly you’ve gotten a $250 rebate!

These programs are a great way to turn everyday shopping into even more money earned online. If you’re addicted to shopping, stay away from these programs because you will likely be tempted to buy more than you need! The key here is to go to the cash back shopping website whenever you know that you are going to make a purchase. See if they have a cash back program for the item you’re looking to purchase. Stay away from programs like MyPoints who give you points for every purchase you make. These points are of little value. Instead stick with programs like TreasureTrooper which give you cold hard cash!
